Students had a free-write on the topic of what, when they were younger, they wanted to be when they grew up. Students then read chapter 22 section 1 and did the accompanying questions.

Last day of 2nd Quarter

Students took the chapter 7 test. We also talked about the inauguration.

-21 degrees below zero, no school. 2nd Quarter/1st Semester was supposed to end today. Tuesday January 20th will no be the last day of the quarter/semester.

Students took notes on the structure of the U.S. Federal Court System and reviewed terms for chapter 7. The test for chapter 7 will be on Friday, the last day of the quarter and semester.

I read to the students about the 1966 Miranda v. Arizona Supreme Court case, students took a note on it and then took notes on the terms in Chapter 7 Sections 2 and 3.
